Engine 11 is a 1999 custom built Pierce engine. It is equipped with a CAF (compressed air foam) system that results in faster knockdown of fires and lighter hoses for our firefighters. Basically, it is putting air and soap bubbles in the water to increase the effectiveness of our ability to put out fires. Engine 11 carries 1000 gallons of water and is capable of pumping water at 2000 gpm. Engine 11 is able to carry 6 crew members, consisting of a driver, officer and 4 firefighters. Engine 11 is the first truck due for all fire and rescue calls in Cedarville Township. Engine 11 carries our extrication tools, including the jaws of life. Engine 11 is also called for automatic mutual aid to surrounding jurisdictions. To train on Engine 11 click here.
